SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions (updated 9.1.2026)
Opt-In Consent: An individual may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Trent J. Mitchell, CPA (“the firm”) through an off-website consent method by directly initiating a text message conversation with the firm at 615-234-0432, which is listed on the firm’s website, business card, letterhead, and email signature. When consent is obtained, the individual is informed that SMS messages may be used for business communications related to accounting, tax, advisory, scheduling, document requests, reminders, and service-related updates; that message frequency may vary; that message and data rates may apply; that consent is not a condition of purchasing services; and that the individual may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. By providing a mobile number and consenting to SMS communication, or by sending an SMS message to 615-234-0432, the individual agrees to receive SMS messages from the firm and agrees to these SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions.
Types of SMS Messages: SMS messages from the firm may include responses to inquiries, appointment scheduling, reminders, requests for documents or information, status updates regarding services, client service communications, and other non-marketing business communications related to the services requested or provided by the firm.
Messaging Frequency: Message frequency varies based on the individual’s inquiry, account activity, appointments, deadlines, document requests, and the professional services being provided. SMS messages are recurring only as needed for service-related business communications.
Potential Fees: Standard messaging and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. You are responsible for any charges incurred from receiving messages.
Opt-Out Method: You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from the firm. After opting out, you will not receive further SMS messages unless you later provide renewed consent or initiate a new SMS conversation with the firm. For assistance, reply HELP or contact the firm directly at 615-234-0432.
